Si morag (Scone)

If the word SCONE evokes first the famous small english cake, it means at the beginning the Stone Of Destiny also known as the Stone of Scone, because of the name of the abbey where it was housed. This magic stone, used by Irish then Scots, was said to produce a sound when future king put his feet above. What better symbol could represent SCONE? For, this briton band proposes a unique sound, created around the magic of the traditional gaelic songs from Ireland and Scotland, like puirt-a-beul (dancing songs), waulking songs (work songs) and ballads. From a tune to another one, from a jig to a reel, SCONE invites to a musical trip in Gaeltachts and Highlands.
