Occitaniss en Balèti (Occitaniss)

Music to be danced by young musicians of the Occitanie in Italian Piedmont between tradition and creation.

" Two sisters and two friends, students in Nice, it makes four attractive girls full of life and enthusiasm who like making dance on airs traditional Occitans as courenta, giga, faggot, rondeau... They also play waltzes, mazurkas, circles, chapelloises, all these present dances in the current traditional balls.
Everything is in their name: Occitanie and Nice ( Nissa). The Occitan side of the group is not only of Nice but also comes of Valley Varaita in Piedmont.
It is Sergio Berardo of the group Lou Dalfin who gave the taste of the hurdy-gurdy to wheel to Manon Genti, the elder daughter(sister) of both sisters, when she was 7 years old. Fanny, the younger child, is a "pro" of the accordion diatonique and puts himself in the composition. Valentine Judge dashed into the trad with his guitar, his flutes and his cheerfulness. And as in music, everything is story of meetings, the Inhabitant of the Auvergne Déborah Luca was able to join the group because she is "came down" to Nice with her violin for studies of ethnomusicology. "
