Let the circle be wide (Tommy Sands with Moya and Fionan)

Tommy Sands has long been one of the great figures in Irish folk music ever since the early Celtic Music Revival. He has also been a powerful social activist, very instrumental in the bringing of peace to Northern Ireland and this all new CD celebrates that. All of the songs are new to Sands’ epertoire, including one which Tommy discovered which was the original source material for the classic standard “Danny Boy.” Tommy is accompanied on this recording by his son and daughter, Moya and Fionán and some of Ireland's finest musicians. Tommy Sands will be doing 60 + shows in the United States in support of this CD in 2009.
