Inédit (Orchestre Andalou d'Israël)

This CD by the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra consists of a selection of gems from the Andalusian repertoire, in a variety of styles.
In this CD, The Israeli Andalusian Orchestra hosts gifted Jewish and Arab soloists: the talented soloist Lior Elmaleh, soloist Abdeslam Sefiani with his unique and moving interpretations, virtuoso qanun player Thami Belhouat and soloist Abdelrahim Souiri in a beautiful joint interpretation with the Orchestra's own soloist Emil Zrihan.
This selection of pieces is intended as a modest representation of the music of a period when Jews and Arabs lived side by side in harmony. In this album we have tried to combine the musical expression of the two cultures, in the hope of providing artistic inspiration for a process of reconciliation and renewed closeness.
