Meuriad (a Breton word) means 'clan'. Formed in Rennes in 1995, the group evolves around a repertoire of compositions in breton, signed by the singer Youenn Guillanton, who draws a part of its influences from Storlok... The group has for first vocation to highlight the breton language, its richness and its expressiveness, the whole bathed in an interceltic colour. The musicians broke apart in November 2003 after 7 years of existence.
