Hybla (Carmelo Salemi)

The Mediterranean music reaches to its highest level in this debut album for a virtuous player of “friscalettu”, a particular kind of flute typical of the Sicilian tradition. Guitars and much percussion galore provide the arrangements of this “hot” CD, which is full of hints of Arabian sound. In the line-up of the band we can find musicians coming from Dounia and the great voice of Palestine, Faisal Taher.
