Cradled in his childhood by the songs of Candomblé (Afro-Bahian cult), Capoeira, the Berimbau athabasques and Sergio is musical career began early. After starting in his hometown, he joined Sao Paulo where he formed several groups: SAM-BAIA and Regra VERY among others, with whom he performed in clubs, and theaters. Then he traveled to Brazil with a "Puppet Show and percussion: AR E TERRA". He goes with his friends in the state of Rio Grande do Sul the show "BAHIA AFRICANISMO" which marks the affirmation of his musical orientation imbued with African-Bahian culture.
