A border crossing project between the folk music trio Færd (Peter Uhrbrand (DK) violin - Jens Ulvsand (S) - bouzouki, & Eskil Romme (DK)- soprano saxophone) the world jazz musician/composer duo Pierre Dørge and Irene Becker (guitar and keyboard) and Danish/Norwegish singer Julie Hjetland, will take place during second half of 2007. This idea of mixing folk and jazz music was born when Eskil Romme met with Pierre Dørge and Irene Becker at a jazzfestival on The Faroe Islands back in 2004 - It is the intention by the project to create a musical univers of its own, based on old Nordic material, Norwegish, Swedish, Danish, Faroese as well as compositions of the musicians own.
