La Esquina Latina is a sextet that includes experienced musicians united by their passion for Cuban and Afrolatin music. The CD « Colores » recorded with the collaboration of several guests : Gustavo Ovalles (percussions, Venezuela) Julio Lopez Vinent (vocals, Cuba), Nicety-J (Rap, France), presrent mostly personal compositions. Tinged with jazz, they feel free to explore the diversity of Afro Caribbean rhythms with a sound that blends brass, percussions, voices, and incorporates instruments such as accordion, baritone saxophone, various percussions instruments, while leaving open spaces for each member's improvisation talent.
