The orchestration of the pieces gives a relatively rock atmosphere. The tone is sustained and lively, the melodic lines are tense. The rythmic section stamps like that of a horse team ready to race. The pipe and accordion are omnipresent, voluble, lively when they play in unison. One would tend to say that it all goes really fast with such team composed of Gaël Rutkowski (uilleann pipes, thin and low whistles, 16 inches bagpipes), Sébastien Lagrange (chromatic button accordion), Didier Gris (bouzouki, mandolin, fiddle), Gilles Sommet (double bass), Jo Macera (lead singer) and David Rougeot (cajon) who brings an original touch. The over excited and percussive sound of the bouzouki answers the deep sound of the bass. This is their 4th album with many original compositions in French and in English. The new wave of folk rock French Irish music has found one of its leaders.
